I realized in all my exciting Boston blogs that I haven't talked much about my rotation itself. Well, it's much different than my first two rotations. First, it's in an office, which means 8 full hours of computer work per day. Second, it mostly involves peer reviewing and editing monographs for publication on the Web site. I'm kind of used to this type of work because I was a journalist for five years before pharmacy school, but it can be a shocker if this wasn't what you're expecting.
I would recommend this rotation to anyone interested in medical publishing or alternative therapies. It's different than anything else you'll experience, for sure.
Tomorrow we get to go tour Mass General Hospital, which I'm super excited about. I'll post some pictures after the visit.
